We are preparing for our 2012 cruise to the middle coast of British Columbia. The boat maintenace and upgrade work was completed during the spring and now it comes down to menu planning and provisioning. It is a huge job to plan for an entire month in remote areas with limited storage space and very limited access to grocery stores for reprovisioning. We have a truckload of groceries and soft goods to stow away in the next 24 hours so that we can be underway by July 1st.
The route this year envisions traveling quickly up to Port Hardy and then crossing the open ocean to Rivers Inlet. From there we will wander North visiting many anchorages that were passed by in our 2010 dash to Glacier Bay.
